I am pleased to be able to show you two watercolours I have painted. Scarlet (above) a lovely black Lab and a horse, Teddy (below), which you can now view being created in a video on my website. I have mastered how to use Time Lapse on my phone and also edit with an Applemac App so it’s not too long. It was really difficult to reduce the video despite it being captured in a timelapse format, so this proves just how long a watercolour does take. You may remember a few years back I painted Lola for a networking colleague. Anne contacted me again to ask if I could paint her 2nd dog Scarlet which I was of course really pleased about. Both are working gun dogs and are absolutely gorgeous. Anne wanted to breed from Scarlet, but unfortunately this has not been possible so she is probably going to get a third Labrador in the future which I would love to do another painting of. Will it be a chocolate one next?! We will have to wait and see. We are looking forward to seeing Scarlet framed whose painting is currently as the framers.
