I was very fortunate to attend a Marketing Workshop by Minerva Marketing last week. Although I have been in business for 12 years now! There is always something to improve on. One thing I was reminded of was to make a marketing to do list, a campaign list and not only that but to put them in the diary too to make sure it gets done. So important in my very distracting world I live in! Analytics is another anomoly for me which Claire made me aware of how the information can be used. So I mustn’t let my marketing become incomplete like some of my artwork! If you are in business and dont have time and rather be doing what you love like me, be at one with your marking. Words are just as important as images. Make them work for you with Minerva Marketing. Claire’s next workshop will be in April 2025.
Christmas is looming and PLEASE NOTE a portrait does take time to plan. A painting, watercolour or oil takes me at least 2 weeks to create unframed. An iPet drawn on my ipad is quicker, 3 to 4 days. But if you want either framed or printed as well this is added time. Framing a painting the time depends on if the chosen moulding is in stock and if the iPet needs printing onto canvas the stretch bars have to be ordered, so planning is important. As you know I also offer gift vouchers, so all is not lost. But if you want to present your recipient with a beautiful piece of finished artwork and see their face melt, then get your order in now for Christmas, especially if its a painting. Perfection takes planning.
