Firstly I was honoured to paint this very handsome piebald horse Henry, featured image. Commissioned by a very generous lady for her friend, who actually used to own my first horse Crispin! So really pleased to have completed this for her. Since completing just before Christmas she let me know the recation of the recipient. “The painting is amazing, thank you so much! Sheila was over the moon.”
I was also really pleased to fit in painting a beautiful and very character full black Labrador. Not only was I chuffed to complete the painting as I doubted I would have time, but also there was still a couple of weeks left over to enable the client to get him framed too. I’ve since heard his wife was over the moon.
