“It was Lauras Birthday on Wednesday. She had no idea what I was getting her. I wrapped it loosely and put it on the dining room table. She thought it was a picture we saw a few weeks previously and started to open it and saw Axle’s tongue and burst into tears. She has said it’s the best thing she’s ever been given and loves it to bits. I tried getting a picture at the time, but she wouldn’t let me due to her being a mess.! She said like I did we might get one done of our cat we lost a couple of years ago.
I Would just like to say thank you very much for your help in doing the portrait from sub-standard pictures I bombarded you with at the beginning and for making Laura’s day, she is treating it like he’s still here.”
I am so grateful for such lovely feedback and so pleased my portraits are much loved even although its of our best friends that are no longer with us. I very much look forward to seeing this one framed and in pride of place. Also to work with Paul again as his enthusiasm has been such a pleasure to recieve. So reminds me why I love what I do. Its just as much about the people and pets we meet as well as the creative part.
