Its been too long since I posted last! I’ve been so busy! I am pleased to say I have had another new commission through my Google Business account and already I can announce this is with the owner who is really pleased and I am looking forward to hearing how is wife recieves the painting for her birthday this month! Equally I am looking forward to hearing about another client who found me just by googling pet portraits near me but this lady came all the way from Kent to view my work at Open Studio back in August. I have completed the painting and it is with the client awaiting to hear how the recipient responds to the surprise birthday present.
Also at Open Studio I recieved another painting commission from a local lady. I am looking forward to starting this next. Meanwhile I am finishing off a horse painting for a fellow business owner. Both these are for Christmas presents.
Unfortunately I can not post any of these yet but I can post the lovely Lottie (cat iPet Portrait above). A gorgeous cat, loved and lost by a really lovely couple who I also met at Open Studio. They found me throught the Open Studio brochure. Further to this I have started teaching the owner iPad drawing and we started our first session last week. We are enjoying a one to one lesson in my new garden studio. (£30 for 2 hours if anyone else is interested)
Finally I am looking forward to drawing a gorgeous labradoodle for a returning client who used to have cats!
Here are some Open Studio images. Definitely we will be returning next year to Farley Church as the church not only raised over £1500 just selling teas, coffee and cake and tombolla and various donated gifts, they also reacieved a very large donation on the last day so really pleased that the event is a great success for all involved. Next year we will have another new artist joining us too!
